Saturday is always the busiest day of the RACV Energy Breakthrough. With all Primary HPV and Pushcart events escalating to their epic conclusions, and all Secondary trails commence. With innovation, a junkyard challenge, a VIP luncheon and Eye of the Tiger playing at least four times, Saturday was exciting, hectic and eclectic.
Friday the 21st saw the first day of racing for the weekend. With the Primary Pushcarts completing their endurance race in the morning, the tri-athlon on the RACV track in the afternoon, and the beginning of the Primary School HPV trial on the Holden Track. As we get closer to the Energy Breakthrough our RACV technical representatives receive an increasing number of queries around the rules. To steer teams in the right direction in the lead up the event we have clarified a few of the rules below. Please read these to ensure that you are compliant.
Introducing Marshal Training Online (MTO) - the RACV Energy Breakthrough's new standard for marshals. At the beginning of 2015, the team at the Energy Breakthrough HQ set a goal of improving the training of corner marshals for this years event. This consisted of developing new and updating existing training materials, creating an instructional video and an online test.
