Thursday Daily Wrap 2019 – EBTV [Video]

Well, it was a day of wild weather in Marybrough on Thursday 21 November 2019 - but the teams that were able to make it to Maryborough battled through the wind and heat in good spirits. Thanks to everyone from the students, teachers, support staff, judges, volunteer crews, camping coordinators and medical and emergency services for pulling together to safely get through the day. Extreme Weather Advice: Thursday 21 November

Important Heat/Health information has been released on our website. At this point in time (5:00pm Wednesday 20th November) we are planning for the event to continue as per the Schedule. We are aware that due to the weather forecasts and the declaration of a Total Fire Ban in Maryborough for Thursday November 21, schools may wish to change their travel arrangements. To help teams prepare for this year's Energy Breakthrough, La Trobe University will be hosting TWO free preparation sessions on Friday 1st of Nov in Bendigo and Friday 8th of Nov in Bundoora. The sessions will also live-streamed online via our website and YouTube.

Bendigo-based Energy Breakthrough student, Hugh, is running a survey as part of his Year 12 VCE Extended Investigation Project. To help Hugh out, he's seeking survey responses from 12 - 18 year olds who have participated in the Energy Breakthrough in the past.
