Get ready to take off with the 2016 (our 26th Anniversary) RACV Energy Breakthrough.
This year to avoid congestion and to provide a better user experience to schools, we will be scattering the entries over 3 days.
Entries will open for the following categories at the following dates/times:
HPV Primary: 8AM AEDT – Tuesday 8th March 2016
HPV Secondary: 8AM AEDT – Wednesday 9th March
EEV, Try-Athlon, Pushcarts, & Innovations: 8AM AEDT – Thursday 10th March 2016
2016 Pricing:
- Innovations: $25 per team
- Pushcarts: $280 per team
- Human Powered Vehicles (HPVs): $490 per team
- Energy Efficient Vehicles (EEVs): $490 per team
- Try-athlon: $490 per team
2016 Category Changes:
EEV Single Power Source B/C and EEV Single Power Source Open will be combined into a new ‘Single Power Source’ class for 2016.
Electric-only and Petrol-only vehicles will be allowed to compete as per previous years but from 2017 onwards we will not accept Petrol-only vehicles and this category will become an Electric-only category.

Online Registration System
Information regarding your existing account(s) for the Online Registration System will be sent to you early next week. School’s Handbook
The School’s Handbook, including revised rules and vehicle specifications, will be released this Tuesday 1st March, 2016.
It’s essential for all new and existing teams to read the 2016 School’s Handbook thoroughly to ensure their vehnicals meet the current rules and regulations.
