Volunteering with the  Energy Breakthrough is a fantastic way of making a valuable contribution and real difference in your community. We offer a wide range of volunteering roles and invite you to match your skills and experience with areas of interest to you. Meet like-minded people, have fun and feel great about making a positive difference.

We need over 700 volunteers to come together in Maryborough each November to help make the event memorable, fun and safe for 5,000 students from 100 schools in over 250 teams.

HOW TO JOIN THE VOLUNTEER TEAM

SIGN-UP PROCESS

  1. Go to https://my.eb.org.au/register
  2. Fill in your details, ensuring you select ‘VOLUNTEER’ from the drop down.
  3. Click ‘Register’
  4. You will receive an email to verify your email address is correct. Go to your email account and click the verification link.
  5. Log-in to: https://my.eb.org.au/login
  6. If you HAVE volunteered with us before, click the first link and we will connect your existing profile to your new account.
  7. If you HAVE NOT volunteered with us before, click the second link and complete your profile details.
  8. Complete an ‘expression of interest’ form for this year’s Energy Breakthrough.

WHY THE NEW SYSTEM?

This system allows us to:
  • have everyone’s important contact details up to date, including contact numbers and Working With Children Checks,
  • have everyone’s emergency contacts readily available in case of incidents on-site during the event,
  • provide volunteer rosters, and
  • have a much much quicker ‘check-in’ process at the event for our volunteers.
