This year Energy Breakthrough are collaborating with ResourceSmart Schools to ensure the event continues to be as sustainable as possible. To help schools prepare, ResourceSmart Schools are hosting three identical workshops for schools throughout September and October.
Please join us by selecting, registering, and attending ONE of the identical online workshops listed below with your students, where we will discuss ways your team can reduce its environmental footprint while at Energy Breakthrough.
This workshop aims to assist teachers and students in:
- planning items to bring to Energy Breakthrough,
- waste sorting/colour coding, and
- waste reduction,
so that your school can contribute to the sustainability goals of this exciting event.

Sustainability Prizes to be won
This year there are additional sustainability prizes to be won.
To be eligible schools need to:
- attend one of the online sessions AND
- Log on to your school’s RSS site (https://my.resourcesmartschools.vic.gov.au/schools) and copy and paste the following text, “School name is working to support Energy Breakthrough and its ongoing challenge to reduce waste”, to Waste Module, Action C3.2
