2023 marks the first year since 2001 that ALL schools – primary and secondary – will be all back on the classic ‘Track 1’. Whilst the circuit has been enhanced and improved since the turn of the century, it’s still a super circuit for newbies and experienced campaigners alike.
After a few requests from some Primary School teams who have never competed on the TRACK 1 before, we encourage you to check out this On board video from the Energy Breakthrough, captured by St Margarets School / Berwick Grammar School from 2019. It was fast enough for the pole lap in practice on that occasion.
It’s a great way to get a feel for how the corners, straights and pit areas look like – albeit at a faster speed than for some!
