- This document will include all of the details about assessments, categories, classes, draft event schedules, judging and general program information.
HPV and EEV Vehicle Specifications Released
- This document will include all of the technical and safety specifications for schools to prepare their entries for the HPV and EEV categories.
HPV and EEV Trial Regulations Released
- This document will include all of the details about how the on track ‘Trials’ are to be conducted.

Recap: 2024 Energy Breakthrough entry fees
- Human Powered Vehicles (Primary): $770.00 per entry.
- Human Powered Vehicles (Secondary): $770.00 per entry.
- Human Powered Vehicles (Tryathlon): $770.00 per entry.
- Energy Efficient Vehicles (EEVs): $700.00 per entry.
- Pushcarts: $400.00 per entry.
- Junkyard Challenge: $80.00 per entry.
- Robotics: $80.00 per entry.
All prices include GST.
The entry fee for our Human Powered Vehicle (HPV) categories (Primary, Secondary and TRYathlon) in 2024 will be the equivalent of $96.25 per student for a team of eight.
The entry fee for our Energy Efficient Vehicles (EEV) category is not forecast to increase for 2024 and 2025. This is designed to encourage participation in this category and to recognise that Electric Vehicles and Pedal-Electric Hybrid Vehicles are more expensive to build and operate.
The entry fee for the Junkyard Challenge and Robotics categories in 2024 and 2025 will be the equivalent of $20 per student for a team of four.
