Welcome to event week!
We’re getting pretty excited here in Maryborough – the home of the RACV Energy Breakthrough – and are looking forward to welcoming you. We’ve noticed though, that our schools and teams have been getting pretty excited themselves and sharing this excitement with their local media and through social media.

Here’s a quick round-up of some of the stories that have caught our attention:
Ballarat Christian College:
“Proudly Built not Bought” made for a great headline in the Ballarat Courier last week featuring Ballarat Christian College students Brendan Thomas and Caroline Debicki preparing for this week’s RACV Energy Breakthrough.
Highview Christian College:
Local crew Highview have been getting in the k’s on their bikes, showing off their slick new team kit and generally getting pretty excited on their Instagram page – HighviewTeam
Bacchus Marsh College
Bacchus Marsh College (or BMC Racing as they call themselves) have unveiled their senior team’s near weapon, Eclipse, on their Facebook page. Josh Coulson and the crew there are pretty excited.
Rode Rage
The distinctive pink paint job of team Rode Rage were spotted getting some final electric tweaks ahead of this week’s event.
As the first ever Energy Efficient Vehicle or Hybrid team to take line honours last year, hoping their sparky knows what they’re doing!
Holy Trinity Horsham
Holy Trinity team co-ordinator Chris Surridge told the Wimmera Mail-Times his students had been preparing and training all year.
“They’re really really excited about it,” he said, “They’ve been very receptive and enthusiastic.”
Great Western Primary School
Great Western PS (near Stawell) have been hitting the fundraising trail for their pushcart team and gathering a host of great sponsors and supporters in the process! Oh, and we think their team uniforms are pretty awesome, too.
Crusoe College, Bendigo
Will, Jesse, Jack and Angus have been putting their trial through its paces over at Crusoe College in Bendigo. This was so slick we had to ask if it was sped up!
Oh, and one last thing …
… the NEW section of the RACV Track is ready for action and looking #phresh !
