Storms stop the 2010 Bendigo Bank & Cartridge World HPV Challenge

In what seems to be a recurring theme in HPV racing recently, stormy weather interfered with the final stages of the 2010 Bendigo Bank & Cartridge World HPV Challenge.

One enjoyable day of racing was again held however, as part of the Bendigo International Madison. Ten schools and two community teams from Bendigo and surrounds, with 16 vehicles and 44 riders made up the largest field ever assembled for this alternative HPV event.

Nigel Preston is a self-confessed 'HPV Tragic'. After 'catching the bug' from his older brother, he helped launch the Energy Breakthrough program at Eaglehawk SC with his dad and some mates way back in 1998.
